This one isn't mine, but it's a good example because it quickly ties the techonology back to reality. Reality is languages of the world are weird from a ‘logical’ point of view. The rules are inconsistent and changing. Why is software hard? Because it's simply a view through the computer of reality -- and reality is pretty funky. see
